   and FreshTech Learning Center
The only technical expo focused on fresh-cut processing, tools and technologies to create valued added produce and meal solutions; technical innovations to enhance quality and convenience in packaging; new technologies in handling, storage and distribution; and solutions to increase efficiency and profitability across the fresh foods supply chain from farm to table.

Food Safety & Research Pavilion
The only industry expo focused on the critical area of ensuring safety through the fresh produce and fresh prepared foods supply chain. Now in its 3rd year, the Food Safety & Research Pavilion brings together companies with food safety solutions for each segment of the supply chain, together with universities and government agencies with the tools and new research needed to assist the industry.

Meal Solutions Showcase
As part of the show’s expanded focus on fresh foods, UNITED FRESH 2009 will feature a new Meal Solutions Showcase highlighting innovation and product development that combines fresh fruits, vegetables and other fresh foods into prepared meals and healthy snacks. This new focus on fresh prepared foods will serve the growing business of in-store retail foodservice operations and the wide array of restaurants and other channels traditionally focused on prepared foods.

Featured Product Center
The Featured Product Center houses high profile “viewing” cases in a central location that maximizes exposure for exhibitors’ products and generates new sales leads. Companies can set their product displays before show opening, with no further staffing required.

Business Suites
United Fresh Business Suites give companies the benefit of doing business right on the show floor without the set-up and staffing of a traditional trade show exhibit or expensive hotel suite. These fully furnished turn-key suites allow you to spend more time doing business with key customers and suppliers, and offer an innovative business solution for both buying teams visiting the show floor and marketers in need of private meeting space.

International Visitors Lounge
The new International Visitors Lounge will welcome attendees and assist international visitors with information about the many components of the show, educational sessions, and local attractions in Las Vegas.

New Product Competition
For the first time, UNITED FRESH 2009 exhibitors will be able to showcase new and innovative products in a new product competition that will actually be judged by attendees on the show floor. Exhibitors can anticipate major press interest in the products voted by show attendees as the best new items of 2009. Competition will be held in categories such as best fruit products, vegetable products, packaging, packing equipment, food safety solutions, and more.

Last but not least, UNITED FRESH launches its new virtual trade show marketplace UNITED FRESH 2009 ONLINE! this summer, creating a new internet community that allows potential buyers around the world to search an interactive exhibitor database for new products and services, contact exhibitors for product information, and learn about new business opportunities leading up to the Las Vegas show in April. Exhibitors who sign up for the 2009 show will automatically be included in this online virtual marketplace, offering a year-round marketing platform.
